22E3334 - THE STORY

We were SONS,
We were BROTHERS,
We were HUSBANDS,
We were FATSOs,
We Were Soldiers.

Due to Singapore's infamous conscription policy, prisoner number 22E3334 was enlisted to the army on the 8th of December 2004. An utter waste of resources and time for all males in this sunny little wasteland.

On top of it all, the 22nd batch of Eagle Company recruits were also ear-marked to be the first to undergo an experimental 6 (YES, SIX) long months of Basic Military Training or BMT on Pulau Tekong, Singapore.

Finally, we POP-ed. 6 long months later.

What more can we say? Our wonderful sergeants.

And leading them all. PC 2LT Lim "Wayang" Yu Yang.

We always knew he was photogenic. 3SG Lee Shijin Eugene.

"I don't care about other platoons, but as far as my platoon is concerned..."
3SG Hew Woong Yong. Old Skool, but a nice guy nonetheless.

They say he's a slacker, but we just think he knows just exactly how much is enough.
Not too much, not too little. 3SG Melvin, a Section Commander from Platoon 4.

For him and his antics and the infamous non-inhaling method of smoking.
3SG Chris a.k.a. "Sergeant Tak Tarik" from Platoon 4.
